Bold Winter Red Lip Glam Tutorial

Bold Winter Red Lip Glam Tutorial

In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to create a glamorous winter red lip look with a flawless, matte eye makeup base. From prepping the skin to achieving a sharp cat-eye with bold red lips, this look is perfect for anyone wanting to embrace the winter season with a striking, celebrity-inspired style.

  1. Start with Primer: Begin by applying The Ordinary High Spreadability Fluid Primer to create a smooth base. This helps your makeup stay put all day long.
  2. Shape Your Brows: Use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade in Dark Brown to define your brows. Push them upwards and to the side for a sleek, glamorous look.
  3. Conceal and Prep Lids: Apply Jeffree Star Concealer in C5 underneath the brows and all over the eyelids to create an even canvas.
  4. Create a Matte Eye Base: With the Beauty Bay Palette, use the shade Bare Necessity as a transition shade all over the lid. This will help your eye makeup look matte and bold.
  5. Define the Outer Crease: Take a deeper shade, like Take a Hike, and apply it to the outer corner of your eyes to add depth and dimension.
  6. Cut the Crease: Using Jeffree Star Concealer again, carefully cut the crease for a sharp and defined eye shape. Set it with the white shade from the Beauty Bay Palette, applying generously across the lid.
  7. Line the Eyes: Apply a precise winged liner with the Heavy D Tattoo Liner, making sure to create a sharp, clean cat-eye shape.
  8. Add Mascara and Lashes: Lightly coat your lashes with L’Oreal Volume Million Mascara. Then, apply Lily Lashes in the style Rome to add drama and length to your eyes.
  9. Apply Foundation and Contour: Use a mix of NARS foundations in Derby and Syracuse to match your skin tone, then apply Hourglass Vanish Stick in Bisque to highlight the high points of your face.
  10. Finish with Red Lips: Line your lips with a classic red lip pencil (like Napoleon Rococo Red), then fill in with MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in Carnivorous. Add a pop of color in the center with a JLo lipstick from L'Oreal for a full, luscious red pout.
